Weekly Supper

Wednesdays, 6pm in Fellowship Hall $5 per person
Members, friends and newcomers are all welcome to share dinner with Parkway every week at 6pm. It's a great way to meet the congregation in a dress-down setting. Bring a friend!

Men's Club

The Men’s Club meets for breakfast the second Wednesday of each month. The meetings start at 7:00 am and are held at Shoney's on Clearview, near the Frontage Road. We would love to have you. Bring a friend and enjoy a good breakfast, hear of an experience from one of our members and share Christian fellowship. Our meetings are short, concluding by 8:00 am.

Young-At-Heart

Every Third Tuesday, 11:30 am in Fellowship Hall
Young-At-Heart is a monthly covered dish luncheon and program for members and friends who are truly "young at heart."

Study Groups

Lectionary Study

Wednesday evenings, 7 pm in room 9
Join this group each week after supper, led by the Rev. Rebecca Harrison, for a lively discussion and in-depth study of the lectionary passages for the following Sunday's worship. You never know, you just may inform the direction of the sermon! The Lectionary Study does not meet on the night of a Devotional Service.

Miriam Circle

Every Second Tuesday, 1pm in room 9
Miriam Circle is part of the PC(USA)'s Presbyterian Women. Each month we study a lesson prepared by PW.

"Embracing the Journey"

First & Third Thursdays, 7:30pm in private homes
This Thursday group, led by Jan Faust, is currently studying "Embracing the Journey: The Way of Christ," the first of five books in the series Companions in Christ by Rueben P. Job and Marjorie J. Thompson. It is intended to deepen our experience of God, explore the fullness of life in Christ through spiritual practices, and receive guidance of the Spirit in community.

Work Party

Praying Parents

Wednesdays, 9am in room 9
Join us as we share concerns, acknowledge answered prayers and grow in our relationship as the family of Parkway. Whether you are a Pre-School parent or grandparent, we invite you to join us as we experience a deeper understanding of God's faithfulness as a community.

Join us as we deepen our understanding of scripture in 2007 by using "A Year With the Bible" resource. This resource began in 1916 at the request of Shadyside Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, compiled by Dr. Hugh Thompson Kerr, Sr. until 1950 and has explored many themes in the last 89 years. Upon Dr. Kerr's retirement, his son, Hugh, Jr. became editor of the "Year" and has since incorporated weekly readings from the Revised Common Lectionary. In addition, there are supplemental readings on particular days as well as a section on prayer. The Christian Education Committee began distribution of this resource on Sunday, December 18 following our worship service. We encourage those who feel called, to share their reflections from time to time in the Billet. If you are interested in a structured reading of the Bible, please pick up a copy on the table in the Narthex.

Second Harvest

Parkwayites are avid supporters of the Second Harvest Food Bank. Volunteers are needed to help sort and package food. See the church calendar for dates!

Prayer Group

The Prayer Group is active again, and this is an invitation to anyone who has a need or who needs a friend to share with. We meet each Wednesday morning at 10:30 am at the home of Edna Dreher. You are welcome to come one time, or each week. Or just come and see if this is what you are looking for. If you have any questions, you can call the church office at 733-1644.
